DMHC has about 60 members also Dan of which about 10 are regular forum members. we fly at a field near wimborne. our flying is only restricted by daylight we fly anytime we can

Now thats the kind of club i like i have 2 local clubs both of which are anal you can fly at this time and you must fly this circuit makes for very boring flying this includes planes too Hence im not a member of these clubs its just me and my mate over the local football pitch whenever we like

Jim,that's why we have the motto www.dorsetmodelhelicopterclub.co.uk 'A Friendly place to fly'
.....and it really is a pleasure to be in a field in the beautiful county of Dorset with DMHC members just having fun....spinning dits and of course the odd flight or two!

Even though i am not a meber of the DMHC, i know a few of the guys down there and i have to say is the best heli club i know of.
Great bunch of chaps, only willing to help with a hell of alot of technical knowledge and also some of the top pilots in the UK and beyond.
But it is not just that, the banter and really friendly atmosphere is what makes the club, if the club is near you, and they have spaces, i would recomend it in a heart beat to join, you won't regret it

Guess I got lucky.
When I got into helis earlier this year I thought "Hmm I'd like to join a club. Which is the nearest one?"
DMHC turned out to be a 15 min drive from me.
The very first day I showed up people were friendly and welcoming. I thought they were all like this.
Guess I was wrong.
