As a business we send stuff all over the world and for the UK would not use Parcel Farce unless the customer wants to take the risk. (we dont call them Parcel Farce for nothing)

I'm sure that may well be completely trueyour parcel will be dropped off within 48hrs anywhere in the UK Mainland
It'd be better if it were delivered to the intended address rather than dropped off anywhere in the UK
Parcel force aren't necessarily much worse than any of the others. The main problem with it is the local post office is not where they take stuff that they try to deliver when you are out - it goes to another far more distant depot that is usually a nightmare to get to while its open. Thus they tend to leave stuff hidden under something in your garden and it ends up soaked.
The post office charge a lot more for big and heavy stuff because it doesn't suit their final delivery method (on foot, by a 60 year old woman, up a 1:5 hill).
Remember red star parcels? Delivered to your nearest railway station overnight for you to pick up? Has that been closed down?www.heli-extreme.co.uk a good club in south Sheffield

I agree that some couriers can be a pain a times, but parcelforce are definately the worst I have ever used.
A couple of christmas's ago I ordered a £2000 TV that was to be delivered by them. When it didn't show up I started to get a little worried so tried contacting them. What a nightmare, I just couldn't get through to them no matter when I called, and this went on for some time. The TV never did turn up but I did get a refund from the shop I ordered it from eventually.
I now cringe when I place an order for anything online and find out its being delivered by them.Dave

I have used Parcel2go a number of times and they have always used DHL for the collection - very good service and similarly priced...Rob
