T3DS upgrades

Hi all!

I've been buying some of the cnc upgraded parts for my storm and have already reported that i had to drill out the cnc washout base/had as it was very tight and would not slide at all so the 5mm drill bit came out which sorted the problem.

I've been slowly building it back up after having my first encounter with the ground when trying out some flips and after having a few fibrations i thought i would take my time with the weather conditions and all........so this morning after already fitting a new cnc rear tail rotor hub and cnc tail rotor output shaft a couple of days ago i decided to run it up to speed to test out the head was ok and had no fibration which it didn't........but i put it on my desk and hand wound the head and noticed that the tail output shaft was all over the place like a plate of jelly (brand new out of the packet and not even flown) it seams that the quality control of some of these so called upgrade parts are not as they should be and my faith/confidence in them is dwinderling fast.

I even bought the cnc main rotor hub/head set and had one of the bearing brake up on itself on assembling it and others

Has know one even had any problems with the standard parts or have they always been bang on........it must be my local heli shop that only buys bent parts then

Not had any experience with this heli, but i tried a CNC aluminium swashplate on my little CX2. It was a tight fit on the shaft, and locked up solid when making an elevator/aileron input. Basically it was useless. Maybe these 'upgrades' are made to the same standards as the standard parts, just different material/finish. Shite made from aluminium is still shite....

Yeah i guess this is also why there not silly expensive and chinese imports lol well where does that leave us!!
