Gyro setup

I have a Century 450se with a 2.4 TX/RX. The onboard Gyro is a GM700.

Can anyone explain what the setup should be between the TX and the GM700? i.e. I can set the Gyro itself and/or set on the TX menu. What is the best way to set it up to gain max control?

I also note thet the rudder servo, when on full left stick, makes the gear reach full movement although the stick (TX) still has about 20% more movement?

I'm still a bit of a starter in Heli's so I'm probebly just ignorant as to the way these craft are to be set up?

Hi Paul..........try moving the ball on the servo arm inwards one hole or even 2 if you have it right on the end of the servo arm.

Thanks for that. I have solved it by simple setting up the D/R to accomodate and adjusting the tail settings. It has also smothed out the flight. Any comments re Gyro setup Vs TX gyro settings?
