  • Belt CP video

Following Lee's (Made2Fade) request, I have finally managed to take and upload a short video of the Belt CP in fright, um I mean flight. (Actually fright is probably more apt, as you can see me ducking out the way in the middle!)

Now I'm sure I've done something wrong, as it took about an hour and a half to upload to you tube, and a long time to download from it! Probably something to do with it being an .avi file and 167mb! I tried to upload it to the video section on here, but it was too big a file. So can someone tell me how to do this properly and quickly?

    Anyway, here's the link:

    Nice Flight,

for videos i use Windows Movie Maker for my video files depending on what quality i use are around 20, 40,70mb but i have a 1.2mbit Upload so its not that long to upload, though it all depends on the YouTube servers and how fast they allowed you to upload hope this helps a little,

and nice flight again! its is rather quite stable aswell, kinda makes me want to fly mine, how long have you been flying it?

Thanks Callum, but a reply in English would have been nice! Only joking, I'm abit of a computer numpty, being an old git! I don't have a video camera, just an ordinary digital still with video function, which I've not used before, so wouldn't know how to change file size etc, so perhaps I shall have to look into Movie Maker

      Been flying helis since March

Phil that looks a decent flight but I can honestly say you fly it far too close to yourself mate.

You don't need telling what will happen if those blades hit you.

Like the flying though, Looks like you are coming on fine.

Thanks Tim. You're absolutely right, but it wasn't supposed to be quite so close to me

Oh, and I did my first loop and roll yesterday. (In the field round the corner where there's abit more room!)

Ah ha, nice one phil... looking good mate. Liked the landing on the little brick stump. You were just trying to prove something werent ya lol? No seriously though the belt cps are great for what they are its just there setup isnt as good as other helis thats all. Great video though, loved the quality too mind. You'll have to get some more so we can see your flips n stuff.
              Cheers

                Thanks Lee

As I said before, it took alot of setting up to get it right, but I've had (still having) great fun learning, and it's taught me alot about rebuilding/setup
! Mind you, it's alot easier to fly than the CP2, which I've been doing most of my crashing on, but the crazy thing is I love them both and I know I wouldn't get any more fun from a much more expensive heli. Might get less grief though

If I can't reduce the file size on the camera I won't be bothering with videos again - it just took too long to upload. I may try again today, and try the "fast capture" on YouTube to see if that's any quicker.

Still lusting after a Trex 450SE V2 though

Not sure if I would fly so close to those power lines mind!

Nice flight, and another vote for 'movie maker' which is supplied with XP.
