Flew Sunday before last, so cold fingers were numb after around 4 minutes, not a lot of fun. Flew last Saturday, still cold but not as windy, good afternoon. Flew Sunday, very cold but no wind so felt warmer than previous Sunday! Only managed 3 flights due to setting up others helis but a damn fine day.

I've always flown all year round but I have to admit, there are times when it's no fun. I tend not to bother going if its raining hard with a poor forecast but I've been down the field when it's raining and miserable and it's dried out enough to get a few hours flying in.

All in, I guess I'm keen enough, I had some health problems a few years ago which made it too painful and I just couldn't enjoy it but now things are easier, you can't beat a half decent flying session and having the crack with the lads.

I was same as you lee, I hadnt been out for two months due to the misserable weather & it was getting me down a little.
That was untill Saturday when the weather broke & the sun shone so I took my most expensive heli (airskipper 90) out & thrashed the tits off it
To say I came back a happier man would be an understatement.
I went out again sunday for more of the same so if it rains between now & xmass I realy wont mind but if it gets nice again I will be there like a shot.
You got to take your chances when they are offered in the Uk im afraid.
