Thanks again guys, I live in Hornsby, Sydney Australia, if anyone lives around or near me and knows of any good instructors I would love to get the info because I cannot find anyone! and guess what, \I have another question hehe,, well, because the back tail pitch servos connects to the heading lock Gyro, whenever I yaw/turn the helicopter to the left, the nose goes to the right, vice versa, so it is reversed, but when I click the reverse switch on the gyro to normal, its still reversed, does anyone know how I can fix this?

    Thanks alot, Lincoln.

You need to reverse the rudder channel/servo not the gyro. Then to check your gyro is operating in the correct direction:-
Give a right rudder stick command on the Transmitter.
Watch which way the servo arm moves on teh rudder servo.
Hold the helicopter and rotate the nose of the helicopter to the left as if its piroing anticlockwise, watch which way the rudder servo initially moves when you do that. It should move the same way as when you gave a right rudder command. If it doesnt then flick the reverse switch on the gyro itself.
      Thats it all done.
Dont try and take off without checking this first or your heli could piro out of control and crash.
      Cheers

Oh yer, and I am at least happy about this, just took the heli outside and got the trim for its roll a little, one small step for me, but I am happy because now I know i am not hepeless, I guess it's hard to trim because i have the hitec optic 6 sport so the trim is electronic, not a slider, i am more comfortable with sliders.

Most people steer the nose with the rudder stick, so feeding a left rudder input should turn the nose of the helicopter to the left. There are some that steer the tail in stead of the nose, but not many.

The reverse switch on your gyro should reverse the sensing in the gyro - it won't affect the way your transmitter affects the rudder - but getting the sense wrong on the gyro will have disasterous consequences if you try to fly it (in all likelihood!) as a gyro sensing the wrong way will pirouette madly out of control as you try to lift off.

If you have flown your helicopter with the gyro sense switch in both positions and not noticed any difference, there is something wrong somewhere. Just switching it between normal and reverse options on the bench and moving the transmitter sticks to check for alternative movements won't work.

To reverse the way the transmitter tells the helicopter which rudder command does what, find the REV or Reverse menu (or similar) on your transmitter and switch channel 4 (rudder).

            Cheers,

2 diffrent things mate, your getting confused between the gyro sens switch (on the gyro itself) and the rudder REV (reverse) menu in your transmitter itself. REVERSE the RUDDER channel in your Hitec optic Transmitter. Then do what i said earlier to check the gyro direction. If thats wrong then you will need to flick the switch on top of the gyro. But only if its not working as i described earlier.
              Cheers

I'm not sure why you don't like digital trims. I've changed over in the last couple of months and I find them much better. Doesn't your transmitter display the trim position and remember it for next time? I use 70% rates and +20% expo to give more stick movement while hovering. Have you got the heatsink for the esc on the outside so some air gets to it. Opposite of book. If you don't want to get Phoenix try FMS. It's better than nothing. The Storm instruction are not very helpful but the blade400 bind instructions are much better.

Made2fade has answered this question for you twice already.
If the heli is spinning (Piroing) madly when you lift off then you have the reverse switch on the gyro in the wrong position.
You also need to change the reverse on channel 4 of the transmitter.
