I feel for you mate
i know when we lost jordan little things was the biggist help as there was loads of posted about him on the drum fourm sites and it was a big help
It will be the 2nd christmas without jord but i know there will be posted about him on the sites on christmas day and that helps me
Take care mate as it looks like you have some great freinds here ,
I understand where your coming from mate, people always seem awkward as if thinking "how can I avoid the subject and not say the wrong thing," where the actual truth talking and getting it out of your system is the healthiest & most beneficial road to recovery one can do.
I feel for you bud.
Thank you xygax, Mike W, Charlie & Roger, too have warm messages from people I haven't had dealings with just goes to show the kind of person this forum attracts.
Today I had a couple of mates help empty the loft, previous to starting I brought large to medium sized plastic containers and this has proven to be the best idea ever, where in the Garage there now stacked in neat rows housing a great deal of gear while taking up minim space, however the eight 12"/LP flight cases are stored on the landing along with CD & DVD's TBH it's been such a long time since I've had a good music session if forgot many of the comp CD's with rare grooves and uncommercial tunes, and I look forward to having a right royal session hopefully early next year, as the Tannoy's and Hi Fi separates will be stored in the house until completion.
And while Keith & Vince piled down the boxes and I sorted out whats mine and hers the amount of "crap" there's in the spare room I know I'd never want to tackle it, right now as you can guess I'm utterly shafted with TENS electrodes over the painful areas and Ultra sounding my Spine twice a day.
Whats really ****ed me off is we could have just left her stuff in the loft but we done the decent thing storing it in the spare bedroom, but did I get a thanks? did I arse holes, makes you sometimes wonder why we bother as carefully arranging her Teds, Cherished Teds etc was a mission on its own, but I guess I shouldn't have expected more in all honesty.
Also just to tip the cake I've a bug where one minute I'm sweating and the next I'm freezing, and if I could have got away with not doing what we did today I'd have done so, Keith who's my soul bro and best mate, said there take care of it, but how the hell could I have in good conscience left it to them, luckily as the containers were large we managed to clear everything out the house, apart from some gear in the bay window which can be collected upon the sale of the house.
