  • Finally sold my 60

Well as some of you are aware I had a 60 size helicopter in a scale fuze .... Well this thing looked lovely in the air ... So i bought it ...
    it had the following spec
    JR Ergo 60 airframe
    Hughes 500 Defender fuselage
    OS70
    3152's cyclics
    hitec 645 pitch
    hitec 6965 tail
Needles to say I had great fun looking at it but not the same amount of fun I get with my pod and booms ..Plus the fact this thing was THAT big I had nowhere to put the thing lol... I then decided enough was enough and placed an ad for it in numerous sites, which eventually the damn thing got sold for the measly sum of £300...Now dont get me wrong I did like this heli and it flew pretty well when it was in the air , it's just that scale was not for me ... I suppose I could have turned it back to a pod and boom and flown it but after flying 50's it ws just not the same ... Maybe one day when I can be bothered, or they bring the price of fuel down then I might get a bigger heli ...
Now the what I would like to know is from the 90 owners out there is the following as I maybe jumping to a 90 when I get the wife offa my back , plus I thinned my fleet to 3 helis and not 7 lmao ....Is a 90 like flying a large 50 or do they fly like a dog ??? ..And which 90 ???

Mike the 90 size 700 I have flys so very graceful its unbelievable yet has the power to rip round the sky with the greatest of ease.

Fly like a dog. No mate far from it.

You don't need telling that the larger the heli, The easier it is to fly, Its no different in this case.

One thing is for certain, Don't try one because you WILL want one.

Again this has been discussed many times.

The 700 is the best value for money out there taking kit and spares into consideration.

People in the know say the Avant fly's better, I can't answer that but all I will say if it does its bloody good.

Obviosly the Avant/Vibe costs more along with expensive parts.

Cheers Tim ... Remind me when I get my ass over to yours.... NOT!! to touch your 700 lmao ...Yeh I think price wise and spares availability it would have to be Align ..Like you said ... If I wanted a top ender then it would have to be the avant , but my wife would castrate me for that amount of money m8e lol....Hmm me thinks I best stay away from flying a 700 to stop me wanting one .... Need to get the K3D finished n e way lmao ... Just aint had the time at the minute ....

The 700 flys brillient, and alot cheeper and easier to maintain than a synergy

Try it, you'll like it, i would never part with my Raptor 70 in a 90 SE frame....... going inverted and flips with a big machine is something else............

Thx Ian, Its the making up my mind .. I do like the added grin factor of the fact I can sling my 50's around willy nilly ..The 60 I had did fly nice but it was the fact it was a scale model more than n e thing and am soo glad I got that bit out of my system lmao ... TBH I might just get a 600n ... I wanna see what my K3D flies like once I finished kitting it out
