hi all

i am selling this battery because i can not get it to charge on a bantam bc6 charger.the battery is new and never used because it will not charge on the bc6 ive got. ive returned it to blink trading only to be told that the battery is fine and thay have charged it & discharged it at 1c and then charged all on a align charger so the pack is new no use and for sale offers please. iam going to get another thunderpower 2600 25c pack that my bc6 will charge because
iam not going to change my charger because i can not charge only outrage packs.

Not being funny Alec but if you have the correct balance board the BC6 will charge the Outrage. I am charging Outrage packs here with a BC6 and a BC8.

For what its worth it will charge it without a balance lead direct from the deans main connector but don't be making a habit of not balancing your lipos.

I tested this pack for Rupert. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, charged it on a Cellpro 10S using the TP balance board. Did a 0.5C discharge to check cell balance and capacity, all good. Then recharged on the Cellpro 6S.....again no issues using a standard TP balance lead.

Following this checked the pack using the Align pack checker using the TP connector, shows all 6 cells in perfect balance.

I have no clue why the BC6 here won't charge it as the pack is absolutely fine, nowt wrong with it.

Also, just to help this move along, the pack came to me in the factory charged state, so it really has had no use apart from the 0.5C discharge I did, and I made sure the cutoff was nice and high so as to make sure no cell damage was done should the cells have been slightly different capacities. As it turned out they weren't so this could potentially be a bargain second hand pack.

ive got all the balance boards 2 aligns boards 1 tp /fp board. i can not even
charge this battery with out balancing i will not charge in my bc6 at all and i am well pi88ed with it. one of the balance boards comes from blink trading for charging outrage packs on a bantam still will not charge , all my thunderpower
flightpower and align batterys all charge fine on my bc6 thay are 6c trex 500 packs and 2c rx packs

What error is it throwing up.

Have you tried making up a different main lead (I know you said it was doing your other lipos) but that's worth a shot.

Does it say "Bad Connection" when trying to start the charge.

i used to have a bc6 and charged the 6s outrage 1300 packs on it.

i would say that this is a balance lead connection problem can you take some pics of your battery connected to the bc6?

I couldn't make the cellpro spit a dummy charging it, tried waggling the balance leads etc during the charge.

only thing thats not been tested is the balance lead.. surely its got to be that??

I charged it balance leads only and checked the cells using the Align checker, it showed all the cells with voltage. If the balance leads were faulty it wouldn't charge through them or show the cell voltages on the Align checker.

sorry its not the balance leads if 6c tp /fp batterys balance charge and normal charge its not the leads. i give up this battery and charger dont like each other so the battery gos thats it .

The Bantam will infact charge the lipo without the balance lead even connected. Will charge direct via the Red+ Black- main lead from the charger to lipo.

I still believe you have a faulty lead, Charger to lipo.

Its a two minute job making a new one up, Just try it and post back.
