As I can't really help out with heli related problems how about Yorkshire Puds :
Take 125 grammes of plain flour add 3 large eggs to it in a measuring jug. Whisk until nice and smooth, this helps to mix with the milk evenly and leave no lumps. Add around a third of a pint of whole milk none of your sissy semi-skim. Whisk until smooth. Cover and put in the fridge for around 2 hours.
When ready, around 40 minutes before the meats ready put the oven on as high as you can get, gas mark 9 in my case. Put around 3-5mm of sunflower oil in the bottom of a 12 case muffin tin. Put in the oven and leave for around 5-10 mins until sizzling hot. Remove the batter from the fridge and the tin from the oven. Immediately fill each case to the top with the batter. It will sizzle and spit. Turn the oven down to Gas Mark 5. Put the tin between the middle and top and wait around 25mins. Don't put them in the top you'll not get them out.
Enjoy with your choice of meat and gravy.
