  • Desperately Seeking (Lost) Website

    Hi all,

A couple of months ago I was randomly searching heli websites and stumbled across a personal site where the owner had made his own micro electric heli using carbon fibre sheet. It had 120 degree swash control layout. The site offered Autocad (I think) plans for the heli frame. It was a UK site and had some other R/C things on it too.

Trouble is I never bookmarked the page and now I can't remember where it was. I've Googled for the last hour on a plethora of search terms but have drawn blanks each time.

Is there any chance somebody here might recognise what I'm describing here and have a link for me? Before I go mad!

    Thanks!

        Thats damn cool.

Ive been chatting to the head of D&T in my school. It seems he may be able to help me with a few things. Carbon fibre being one, vaccum formed bodies being two.

He's actually into radio control stuff big time. Mostly boats. Infact he is making a 10ft long scale model of the Titanic's "sister" ship along with 4 scale tug boats to compliment it!

Popping up his on the weekend. i'll take some photols. I know it may not be your scene - but he's the kinda guy that will make a 1/8 scale heli without even pulling a sweat
