    LOL, My mother got this letter,






    But, We switched to o2 broadband back in July so our contract was legally cancelled... so what are they playing at? lol Legal Action... dumb nuts, Switched via MAC Code aswell


    and my microwave has just beeped at 3:10am to let me know that my curry flavoured noodles are cooked, Splendid!

    Broadband suppliers are a useless bunch of W******. everything is fine until you want to switch. I was on AOL for years and all was OK, until I switched. The changeover was smooth no problems, but the next month I was billed again on my credit card, I rang and complained, Oh sorry sir and all that crap, we will credit you back. then next month no credit and another payment taken, rang again and was promised a credit within the next 10 working days. next months statement came through, instead of credited the money they had taken it again, as well as another payment for the month. After a very long and loud phone call I was promised another for the whole amount, I have told them if it does not go through I will invoice them for the time I have had to spend on the phone trying to sort this out.
    Will keep you informed when i get the next statement.

      BT tried to do the same to me when i switched. phone them up and tell em where to stick their bill.

        sorry to hijack the thread, but its not broadband companys that need a ****ing slap, mobile phone companys are just had bad, heres the story....its O2 btw.

        after claire died i cancelled her two contracts with O2 breavement centre changed them over to pay as you go for the boys keeping the numbers, no problems all changed over....4 weeks later gets a letter addressed to Claire from O2, you us 331 pound, phoned them spoke to some girl as soon as you go off the normal phone call procedure they are stumped, yet again spoke to the breavement centre, "sorry Mr Hawksbee is a mistake our fault" too bloody right its your fault, another 4 weeks go past i gets a letter from a solictor addressed to Claire ok pay this amount or we will take you to court, you ****ing what spoke to them explained the situation, they are going back to O2 and tell them what has happened, i want it to go to court really so i can tell them to shove that bill up there arse, i wait with baited breath for the next installment

        Orange broadband also needed a slap from as well Claire was the account holder, "sorry cant speak to you you are not the account holder" thats what im ringing up "sorry cant speak to you, you are not the account holder" my answer "was hang 10 mins i will go and dig her up for" deathly silence followed and following this it was sorted out....................

            i dont like saying this type off thing but some companys just irrates the hell out of me and they more than desevered it im my opion.........

                I had an issue with Bulldog BB. They connected me, the line didnt work so they changed my number, the line was bearable, then no BB for 4 months. In the end i got bt to connect me, and told bulldog to shove it, they billed me around 400 via email, to which i replied i dont know what for ive never had a service from you, im with bt. They reduced the bill to 22quid for calls made, and i asked them for it in writing, it never turned up, i never paid, they never emailed me again! So has anyone actually got bulldog these days?

                  Me too. Seems like Orange are having a go at their old customers.

                  I cancelled my broadband with them 2 years ago and returned their poor modem (the reason for cancelling) at the same time.

                  Yesterday I received this letter




                  So they are going to charge me £100 for a modem I've returned.

                    Well I wrote to them and complained about their intimidating letters. Today I received a reply quote:-

                    " ... Our aim is to train all our staff to provide an excellent standard of service. I'm sorry this hasn't been the case in your experience and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused ... "

                    It seems I must have found a human at last at Orange.

                      They missed a bit from bugsters letter... missing bit in bold.

                      "It's really important that you send everything back to us in the next 28 days or we will have to charge you £100 to cover the cost of your Livebox (as it's only on loan to you) and thats something neither of us want to happen, except us as it's a massive profit item."

                        It all goes further than telecom companies too. I've a yearly budget account with my gas & leccy.
                        Got my recent statement where I'm £90 in credit. Their letter stated that because of this, they had reassessed my account & were going to put my monthly DD up by an EXTRA £30 per month.

                        Thing is, you give both barrels to some 19 yr old who can only quote what's on the hymn sheet.
                        You can teach a man everything. Apart from experience.
