  • Indoor flying whats to big....

    Hi
The Club i'm in is looking to indoor flying and Heli's should be allowed...

But then I was asked Whats to big etc.....

So I gave the Chairman a small list of requirements....

Under 800g weight nothing over 420-450 motor.
I used the T-Rex blade length as max Blade length as well.

That puts the T-Rex just inside for indoor flying but keeps out
    say an Eco 8.

Any thoughts on this are welcome, Planes will be limited in weight
    as well.

I'd say you are spot on, providing it's a largish venue. In a small hall even the T-Rex/X400 starts to look too big :?

Limited to 450 motors is the way to govern the size.
You need to give some thought to flying slots if the traffic gets to busy ie heli. slot
      Shocks/ IFO's / arobatics in another slot
and scale/ ultra light weights in another.
