i think moyesboy was pretty justified to post this thread. he had a problem and had made every effort to contact the company involved.

maybe if allflight came up with an explanation we will all see why it went wrong and it wont happen again. Then they will get some positive advertising.

Its one of the most interesting websites I have seen, for quite some time.

Its also NOT DDA level 2 compliant which is a legal requirement for a commercial websites across the world.

Its worth mentioning that this site is well indexed into google in both .uk and .com servers and as such anyone search that site will no doubt see a link to this thread also hence I suspect the store owner is not happy. All the more reason for stores to behave in a manner that comply's with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 etc.

Hi. I do not understand these comments about ALLFLIGHT.CO.UK
I have dealt with them a great deal, and found them really excellent. They generally deliver all items within 2 to 3 days, at least if in stock. The guys there, Matt & Allan, are always trying to be helpful.
They also have some AWESOME products -the NEW Walkera 4G3 Palm-size 3D CP Heli, all the other Walkera Palm-size helis -at very cheap prices.
Plus -all the RC-Factory and Fancy Foam stuff, and all the PlantracoLiving room Flying stuff.

The link above confirms that Dr Alan Levi did suffer from mental health problems in 2006. He is also listed as a contact for Indoor Flying in Bristol. I have mental health problems and can't work, but this is more to do with people's attitudes to mental health problems. He may well be difficult to deal with, but it does not mean he's dishonest.

I have had problems with Allflight. I will not deal with them again. I could write a book about the things I have been told by people about the company and Dr Levi. I'm a Mod on another forum where I started a thread about Allflight where Dr Levi complained about the thread saying it was 'unfair' so it was removed. Im my opinion, keep clear guys.

Not a case of the "Lynch Mob" is out but getting a fair deal for the end user as we all expect.

I've heard good comments from both sides now but retailers like LMS / MH / and the like don't seem to operate in this way because they firstly have a face and people/customers know where there are and have too much to loose..........would they take your money and not have the stock in place or even worse just keep the money and not send the goods or a refund if it wasn't coming in that day , a point in case is LMS and the trex 250 spares which they will order for you but they have stated that they are not carrying any so you know your going to have to wait unless you go somewhere else.

I'm also on a few tdi tuning forums and a couple of companies have fallen via the way side because of bad business ethics bad service and bad product quality which was mostly in house..........i even bought an inlet-manifold off of these guys which i wanted altering and what i got was a total joke under the trades discription act..........i just laughed and got a refund.

P.S........and these guys had a race team in the VW CUP!!......no more!!not this year any way not until the tax man moves on any way......i know of people who have been totally ripped off big time and won't say anything (NOT I!) ......name and shame thanks.

I'm not saying the negging was not called for or valid - it would seem it was, just saying it's a very powerful tool and should be thought about before posting.

I, for one would not give them my trade because of this thread, so it does work. A lot of peeps don't post but just lurk, so a neg post can do REAL damage if using incorrectly.

On the other hand, I've dealt with Buzzflyer (online only), Terance in HK (goods still in transit) and heli-torque.co.uk (online and voice) and have had no problems.

VERY strange too how the so called DOC signed his posts BATMAN on another forum! BUSTEDDDDDD!!
Biggest laugh is i went to spectate at the F3P indoor comp last Sunday in Leeds and sure enough there was the Doc handing his crud out, even after the event organiser had told him by no means was he welcome! Walking around wearing a huge name badge, he may as well wore a sandwich board it was that big pmsl.
To be honest would you really want to show your face at an event where there could be people there you've ripped off!!??
They only took your freebies DOC because they were FREE!!!! Not because they think your gear is brill, because it's ancient! DOH!!
Well i'd best say no more if I dont want him to threaten me with his solicitor, like he does with everybody!!!! EH DOC!!??

I starrted this thread because I had made a purchase from a website and then heard nothing and could not establish if that company existed.
Eventually I did get product from that company, and there was a satisfactory conclusion - though the reason they had been completely uncontactable for three or more weeks was still a bit of a mystery.
Everything I have posted here has been just truthful facts, yet I was still threatened with a solicitors letter becuase of the contents of this thread, and that didn't make me feel like doing anything to prevent this thread from growing.
However postings in this thread have moved away from the exchange of experiences of dealing with a retail business, and this friendly internet forum is not somewhere to publish personal insults.
So I will now close this thread.
