Just wanted to share
Took yesterday off work(good start) spent the whole day at the field with 3 other heli pilots. there were some others too but we had arranged to meet up and fly for the day.
what a great day to pick sun was out there was a little wind but nothing worth worrying about, Ideal. I think i flew more yesterday and I ever have in a single day. I actually got 2 3000mah rx lipos down to where they definately needed charging, my Tx level went down fairly low too so was watching it closely.
out of the 4 of us we only had 1 near miss which was caused by an auto going wrong luckily he managed to scramble out of that one, but it was close. close enough for the tail blades to hit the ground and crack them, but that was the total damage.
Personnally I used to the day to crack inverted flying around, Ive been ok at the hovering inverted but actually completing circuits and moving around Ive been slow at getting to grips with, but that came on really really well, the state of the heli proves that, took a fair amount of cleaning.
Plus I did quite a few autos, so getting those fairly good and controlled now. next is the inverted ones. didnt quite have the bottle to go for it because I know how bad mine are on the sim LOL.
but a completely fantastic day was had by all.

looks like the crap weather has set in now so indoors is gonna be the only regular flying i get
