    Battery Eliminator Circuit....
Breif explanation. it regulates the voltage from the battery to the radio and or the servos and gyro to a voltage between 4.8v and 6v they are all a little diferent.

Verbose version. They come into two major catergories the linier series pass disapative and the switching (uasally buck). both have benifits and disavantges.

The linier is very smooth and essentally simply but opperates the semis in partly turned on and this makes them hard to protect so thay can be fragile electricly to overload due to this they have a limited input voltage span from 6 to 9v. Formenco type

The switching type is inherently noisy and can generate significant ammounts of RF which can cause trouble for the radio equipment but is available in significantly higher power versions than the linier regulators and are easy to protect. They also waste less energy than a linier regulator. this tyoe can have very high inpuut voltage spans from 6v to 50v is easy. (cant remember but there are some)
