Heli Storing

looking for any ways or the best ,way to put the helis up , i was thinking of a shelf , or somehow hanging from the ceiling , or on the wall as at the moment ive got them in the bedroom on the floor and there in the way & could get damaged , cheers jim

Mine are stuck on the walls with heavy duty hooks which were purchased from B&Q.
You just gotta make sure you have cleaned them and drained all fuel before you hang them up and i also make sure the pipes have bungs in them. Ideally im gonna see if i can get them all on one wall one day. Got too many other DIY duties in the house at the moment though lol.

people hang them tail down from the front undercart on a couple of coat hooks.
you can also hang them sideways, but be sure to have the exhaust down so residue doesn't run back into the motor.

Mine are just on a shelf, because it was there.

There was a thread with "man den" (heli person den) pics of everyones heli storage a while back.

Them particular ones are hung up in a corner of the bedroom wall. Its hard to find places for all the models i own. Now you can see what my misus has to put up with lol. Hey are you colour blind? Its Magenta not pink actually lmao Gotta give the misus some say in what colours go on the walls unfortuantely haha.

I have a horizontal bar (made from 15mm galv steel tube, just because I could get my hands on it easily) 1200mm long fixed to the wall with 3 stand-off brackets. I can hang 5 nitro helis by the rear of the skids on it tail-down easily.

My girlfriend had bright pink walls in the living room when I first met her!!

It was disgusting. First thing that got sorted out when I moved in.

hahahah ... funniest post for a long while Lee .... .My kids would take over my house as well if I let them ... 3 kids and a wife and a cat .... Mind you my house is pretty big for a terrace .. 3 downstairs rooms .. 4 bedrooms yada yada ... When I bought the house I told the wife that one Room was going to be mine n e way lol ...I think If the wife would let me I would have more models in my bedroom ... Dont think thats going to happen tho ....
