Got to admit, now that I am used to the smell of ProPower, Magnum smells terrible to me.

I think I may have permanently damaged my sense of smell

My lhs only seems to have Bekra 16 or 20, considering I was using the 'dirty' Contest 10 fuel, and still now with my Align pipe, should I try one of these?
After reading a lot of forums on fuel this would have been my 4 choice, Propower 16 being my first, should I go for the Bekra 20 which I can get today, or wait and mail order the Propower, any one used Bekra I suppose would be best to answer ! ? (long as it's not castor oil based, I guess I should try it wih my OS?)

Not used Bekra myself, but I think it's the one MT specifically make for helis. A guy at my club uses nothing else and rates it highly.
He's been flying for 15+yrs.

I've just changed from Bekra 30% to Optifuel 30%, no real problem with the Bekra, it's a fully synthetic fuel with no castor designed for helis. I have noticed that the Optifuel definitely runs cooler than the Bekra and seems to have more power.
