Ikarus Eshop - Eco 7 jet ranger

Hi people.

I've been on the look out for a fairly easy/fun project for a second Heli and have been seriously considering the Eco 7 Jetranger version. I have a feeling this particular model is on the way out and will become discontinued pretty soon if not already and I am keen to get my hands on the basic no electrics version straight from Ikarus in Germany.

Is it possible to run this model of 2.4ghz? what about setting up with Lipo's and brushless motor? Not looking to make a scale model do 3D or anything!!! Just long flight times.

Any help would be brilliant please, even if you have no experience of this particular model but have used the Eshop I will be glad to hear of your opinion (P&P charges, Customs/Duty, insurance etc)
