  • Rx lipo

Hi all could anyone tell me if i can use a different type of Rx battery instead of lipo with the Align 2in1 regulator as the Align 1900mah lipo dont seem to last very long before they are not taking a full charge and i need to replace them.

You can use what you like but if you are thinking of going NiCd or NiMh I'd make sure you pick a 6.0v pack not a 4.8v

I have a 4s2200 on my chinook..... (reconfigured as a 2S4400) mainly for the weight i still had to add 8oz to get it to balance properly.....!

The 2 in 1 was not providing a very stable regulated voltage with the 2s1900 (align one) i think because of 7 digital servos and the battery impedance (the align one is a 12C the replacement one was a 25c so since it was changed to a 2s2p technicly its now a 50C !!!!!)... but with a larger capacity battery its fine..... and the duration as yet is not proven as we are still having a few teething troubles...
