New Heli Flyer at Club...

We have gained another Heli flyer who got a Shuttle 2nd hand.

JR gear in it and for its 1st flight down to me to test it

Even I put on training under carriage on for the 1st flight I just
feel safer doing that.

No heading hold gyro in it but I Happily powered it up she was totally
fine who ever had it before had it set up really well. I was hovering
it around 4-5ft.

Gave it the all clear.

Now Its down to me to help him fly it

At least I know I can help all the way to circuits at the moment

No pressure then. I don't know about you, but I felt pretty good the first time my instructor asked me to help set up a new member's heli.

Hes tryed to go it alone... Bent his heli sounds like the boom
hit the ground and well boom and other bits broken going to
see it tommorrow to asse the damage :roll:

seen that loads of times. you need to stress not flying on his own especially if hes doing it away from a club field.

I dont like to fly on my own as I may (god forbid) be injured by the heli. I always drag a mate along to fly his planks etc...
