  • night flying in the north?

Any groups night flying in Debyshire, Cheshire, Staffs, or S. Yorkshire?

I have a place to fly, but I'm Billy No Mates and it doesn't seem right to be flying in the dark in the middle of nowhere alone...

Looking to find others to fly in the dark with on a weekday or friday night.

I guess I'm inviting a load of rather iffy jokes with this...

Gordon, sorry not had chance to reply to your email

Not sure exactly when we will be night flying this year yet, but we will be. I know of at least 3 or 4 heli's and several planes being covered in night rope as we speak, for as the nights draw in.

Still not got anywhere with the B Tests either

Will let you know what nights as soon as I do and you are more than welcome to come down. Know what you mean about trying the night flying on your own, it gets really eerie, particularly if your in a field in the pitch dark surrounded by cows.

A mate of mine shot a vid of my 600n in action last night...
Blades were in need of charging before I started, and had mostly gone out by the end of the flight... also lost the boom glow rope about 2 minutes in... was hilarious

              Cheers,

Poor Funfeex is an Ozzie and must have been hooning about in a Ute with a mullet hair cut while us British enjoyed the cultural extravaganza that was the Macc Lads.
Who else could write a song which rhymed "George Michael" with "menstural cycle", the rest of the line is not suitable for publication here

Mind you Oz has its own cultural "highlights" such as the Ute Mustering at Conargo Pub...
