Who was riding the triumph, tell him that the twisty thing on the right handlebar is there for a reason. He must have been shifting gear at 3000rpm, either that or he had Vanessa Felts AND her fatter twin on the back.

ps I have a gixxer, not been out on it properly for the last 2 seasons, weather not been on our side.

I'll be in the market for a new 90 in a few months and just wondered how the RJX's were getting on 15 months down the line

Well. Country & Western has sold his X50 due to reliability issues. He has however sold it to a club member who bought it for an extremely good price. Country & Western absolutely loves his T-Rex 700 now - he's seen the light!!!

Don't think Stefan is flying RJX now.

Qal had some issues with his X90 when he brought it to the field a few weeks ago.

Timmy Mallett has just bought an X90 but had to buy some new ball links as the ones in the kit were mis-moulded. He's not flown it yet due to being on holiday.

F Steve has nearly finished his, but has made his flybarless. Again he's not flown it yet, but when he brought it to the indoor club meeting a last week, we noticed that four of the bevel gears driving the torque tube had some "high spots" on them making the whole drive train very notchy. Hopefully this will bed in, but you don't expect this on such an expensive heli.

When the weather improves, we will see how the X90 fares compared to all of the T-Rex 700's in our club.

Yep.

I converted to Align 700 some months ago, had plenty of practice building and setting up the RJX 50, they do take some looking after there was always something that needed attention after flights. Now the 700 just build and go no more messing with repairs after flights and I must say it flys very well. The RJX is a good machine although I have not flown the 90 I just did not want to be having to fettle it every week.

Having seen the new flybarless on my club mate Tin Tins 700 and seen it flying it looks very accurate and locked in and I suspect flys as well as a RJX 90. He has just fitted the Scott Gray reg and a bit of bling and it does look a well build machine.............so plumb for the 700 as a first choice unless you like building rather than flying.

The RJX is definately a machine that needs a lot of love and attention.

Country & Western. You hit the nail on the head a few weeks ago when you came up with the slogan for the 700 - "Just fly it"! The same can't be said for the RJX's!!!

I'm just looking for a machine to fly, think i might be better off with a T-Rex 700
