Seriously, the 600NSP was not as accurate as a X50, so no matter how much cheaper the kit I'd buy an X50 as the spares are comparable in price.

Your 700 on the other hand was nice to fly. I have only flown an X90 briefly, and didn't want to crash it as it was the 3DM display model, so can't compare yet. Hope to have my X90 flying this week so will be able to offer a qualified opinion then.

Yes its all down to personal choice in the end. But my delaings with the RJX X50 that I had and the problems that I see at our club with the X50's make me realise that my Align helis are trouble free from week to week. OK they may not be the best 3D machines but for my type of flying, the Align helis are great. I can't get enough of flying the 700!!!

i understand ya..but stefan took a 600n to clubman 3d and was intending on using that,but it sounded like a bag of crxp on the saturday so we went with my raptor 90..and we had a number of problems with the 600 and another clubmate.
and found the bearing were wearing out after about 40 flights(not good)we thought they were going again.i bet stefs done 100 flights easy with the rjx and still sounds great.also after seeing duncan 700 blow out at the championship and the like of trevor grounding the 700 after problems it sparks off bad memories for me
cheers craig simmons..in competition it has to be 100 percent..thats why i used a raptor 50 in clubman 2005 and a raptor 50 in the masters 2006/and stefan in 2008 clubman and masters.so ill say it how it is.

Agree the Raptor is a reliable model but then it is ten years old so i would hope any issues would be sorted by now like the stainless tail hub they still dont supply with the 50 or the metal headblock as standard.

I have very good memories of Raptor 50`s myself they were always very dependable,i am luckily blessed with equally dependable Rex`s though.

Agree,its all personal choice if everyone is happy with their personal choice of model then thats great.

I so badly want Thunder Tiger to bring out a model to sell alongside the Rappy,something specced like a 3D or 600N at the same price point as well.

I think its in everyones interest to have a second or third manufacturer with good marketing and good support.

Outrage seem to be a promising candidate.

It went straight over his head Craig..

Old Fordson still going strong after 50 odd years (Credit) then he's slating my good old T-Rex's that win all the major comps arounds in 2008..

Dangle a carrot and they come in droves, Its just so easy..


Point being we all buy what we like at the time because "WE" like them whether it be T-Rex or (cough) Compass...

yeah i agree..ive have perfectly good helicopters that i just dont likeand second hand heaps ive lovedi like the funny comments and pee taking om here.sometimes i see people who have a raptor/trex etc with all the bling on and they are convinced the upgrades are required. then go out a do extreme hovering haha.
