why do you guys buy align when you can have a better heli cheaper..THE KNIGHT.in my mind there is no question the knights better..i suppose we have our choices and it woundnt be cool to all have the same helicopter..
as for the rjx.its just a top notch helicopter.just like i have shoes for work and then shoes for going on the pullthe rjx is a babe magnet haha..

ps comparing the vibe 50..if you want a straight tracking positive helicopter the vibes nice.but hard 3d ?? maybe not
and stefan purchased the trex 600 and spares himself...as i say to the lads if i had 300 notes id have the knight 3d..no questions..if you asked me what the best 50 machine is..xteme for sure

Why are the pitch arms still bending then? We had two X50's at our club with bent pitch arms. I know because I spotted one of them and I was asked to pick up new pitch arms for the other one!

I still think its a good heli though, but how can you say the quality is better than Align? I suppose it's "each to their own". You have to be happy with what you personally like to fly. We could have this debate with road cars, football teams, F1 teams etc.....

When you build a heli in particular an X50, a certain amount of "nounce" is required. This heli is not one you can throw together, it is a real piece of engineering - every part is made from solid billet not recycled cast aluminium anodized or painted to hide the low grade materials used. If you were an Engineer, as i am, you would apreciate the quality and attention to detail that has gone into designing and making X50. I think you must have found the build to difficult, and this resulted in your model being incorrectly built. As you are very much aware my model flies extremely well with only a few clicks of trim required to set the machine up after building. If you just want a "point and squirt Heli" buy a trex, if you want an infanatley programable extreme well engineered 3d machine then the you wont find any better than the X50, and with the major importer and fellow helicopter flyer only 20 miles away and available at the other end of the phone, who can ask for more, when was the last time you could talk to Trex or there major importer.
Rjx make well engineered helicopters, Trex are ok, but would have neen better sticking to washing machines and hovers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know well and good that my X50 flew very well indeed and was built even to your standards! How can you say that you pay attention to detail when and I quote what you said on Sunday about the bent pitch arms on your X50 "well I'll just hammer them straight instead of buying new ones". Why would you want an infinatly programable head. How many times have you "re-programmed" yours? Also have you or I had any parts bend on the 450, 500, 600 and now my 700 head? I think not! The only time is when its binned. Can I also ask you which of your helis you prefer to hover inverted? I think you mentioned that it was your 500. Yes the 500 that is built by a hover and washing machine manufacturer!!!!

hi mate thanks for the question.i heard of this before so i rang king cobra and hes sent me a new pair of bars..but we have never needed to replace ours.i can only speak from our results.not others
as for the align 600..the damper were crap.replaced them then the bearings were terrible and ended up crashing the model(due to glitching)..the one way bearing in the clutch slipped and also the main shaft one way bearing too..we had the sport version and the belt didnt last in 3d it stretched bad so id tension it again it was a pain..had about 3 belts then converted to a pro version/the interation was crap on the ccpm..its a known problem(swash washout etc)it was the only helicopter that i regred buying.. ever...while the knight 3d has issues like the main gear stripped and clutch shoe problem they have been sorted too..so if they sort them then great..i think align release helis to early and let us sort the problem out for them..look at the 700..ive heard the tank in frame are to tight/engine hub runs out/main gears strip and they do/links problems(quick uk have sorted it already)not good is it

I totally agree with Timmy Mallet, the standard of engineering on the RJX is second to none. It is worth every penny of the £550. It's sleek lines make it a handsome machine. Comparing the 600 to an x50 would be like driving a robin reliant in the city centre compared to an Audi R8.

The great thing about the x50 is the ease of stripdown, removal of the engine 4 allen bolts, removal of head 1 bolt 4 ball joints etc.

I a really looking forward to seeing them in production. One day the Align mob might be able to afford the 'Rolls- Royce of Helis!!!

the 500 is great

we like the 500..
and did you know that some of the 700 flyers are having to alter the 700 ratio.. to get the responce because its not fast enough for some guys.well known guys at the top
we flew the rjx in fast responce mode and its great and are just trying very fast rate..and will play more to decide which ones best.but fast responce is enough really
its your choice to what you want..not what they make you have
i would like to know how stefan isnt bending the bars..we have tried on purpose by doing tail slides into choas etc..

On the subject my c-cks biger than yours, Lets have a small competition to see whos climbs (goes up) the fastest, we can compare the sharpnes of som pitch pumping and then some well trimmed inverted bush cutting (or may be just long grass) and all this done at the lates and best Helicopter club RIBBLE VALLEY MODEL HELICOPTER CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!. nutter you quote a statement about hovering inverted with a 500/i think maybe we are comparing things a little differently,i could get a shuttle to hover inverted hahah..thats enough for me lads

Look, when was the last time (except last friday with a 450 inverted in the hall) did you ever see me crash!! my flying my friend is fine its just your nerv's that are no good!!!!!!!!!!
I see that Tin Tin is beaten and has left the discussion for tonight, may be we will convince him of the errors of his ways when he has to replace the parts on his new 700 as they wear out prematurely

Apparently, there have been some issues with the tail rotor being too stiff, thus putting all the X90 kits on hold. New kits will come with plastic tail grips. A directly quote from archeli forum…

we have stoped the delivery of the X90 due the menioned “tail issue”.
The issue is like TOAL said due the complete metal tail.When spinning CF Tails on it and the whole assemble is not balanced 100%.(like in the manual said) it can make the tail fail in certain RPMS. We have redesigned the tail hub with extra dampening to avoid this.
This is a “problem” on all full metal tails with CF Tail blades.As it is to stiff.With plastic gribs it will not happen or if you use plastic tail blades.
This is the same phenomenon as with your car wheels.If they not acurate balanced you can go up to 80mph and no issue.With 100 you get vibration in.

So the X90 will be back in the shelfs with the changes done.
