After a week away last week with the kids, i packed the trex 450 with its nice new v2 frames and a v1 head, i set it up the trex 450 up on the dx6i and took it out to fly, being by the coast it was a bit blustery but had a few flights to test fly and sort out the throttle curves and pitch, sorted flying nice, last saturday i just went for it in the garden side on both sides bit off nose in and and trying to nail figure of eights.
I ended deciding that the garden was way to small to do circuits but i seem to have mastered side on hovering like its second nature with the controls, so i took it up my flying field yesterday and just went for it. it flew ok circuit wise but after speaking to Ade yesterday and a bit off phoenix and tutition via a web cam and phoenix online pointed me the in the right direction where i was going wrong, so last night went up there again and just tried to nail figure of eights couple of times lost in the dark gloom but no incidents no crashes, but Ade my left hand rudder is still lazy right hand is fine nice bank and aileron/rudder and elevator control but left rudder still lazy, i get banking but cant seem to get the tail to follow it round, practise practise practise,
need to do it with a nitro now possible my rappy 30 as i dont want to ditch the 600n, not for the time being anyhow
just thought i let you know as i feeling pretty pleased with my self at the moment after whats happened
hope this calm winds continue for the rest off this week anyhow....
