  • Rubbish Weather and Today !! :)

Well been on long hours all week so the chance of me flying have been none and none lol... So I finished work this morning at 3am and thought I would put my stuff on charge just incase there was a break ... Well got out of bed at bout dinner time and looked out the window ... Geez .. best day we had for weeks hehe .. So rung my m8e and went to his house to see him and he loaded his truck up and me in mine and we headed to the field .. Was even nicer when we got there .. sun was out and the wind was nowhere to be seen .. So off we went flying away ... Tide musta turned and along came the wind at bout 3pm so we decided to pack up and go home but not after enjoying ourselves flyin around like nutters lol .. I am a member of another club that is a little more sheltered so took a trip there as well ... And there was more there as well so had some more flights there lol.. All in a BRILL day , really enjoyed it today .. Pity I working morrow tho lol.... Well in the day n e way hehe .... And even got the grinding noise sorted on my Titan as well .. OWB for the starter shaft it was .. all cleaned and cured ... I love this hobby !!!! .... Anyone else like it as much as me then ? lol .....

Fair to say that today was worth the wait..........
My best day flying so far. New achievments with the twister 3DS & no crashes with the trex600 while still getting to know each other. Met a real life RCHeli addict to boot.
        Still grinnin.

Lucky gits, I was all excited when I stuck my head out the window this morning.
Then it all went pear shaped, the misses put her foot down and I had to do a load of chores.
wont tell you what I think of her, .
Wont mention it tomorrow and sneak out.

had a fantastic day today, finally! had Tony (Sesame) and his mate Tim down to the club today, installed my YS91 in to his new 700 and flew it. flying very nicely really nice to see some new faces and flying styles at the club, and top marks to Tony for bringing the gas stove and cooking up some kebabs

Managed 3 tanks on the Knight, 4 packs through the 500 and 1 on the 450, very happy for once starting to get to grip with piro-flips which is wicked, wont be long before im actually controlling them lol

What a wonderfully uplifting post this is.

Good stuff Mike, isn't it the Dogs when everything pans out perfectly, we had a swelter here in the Fens too, by midday it was hot not warm as such.

I had three flights around midday, then Gary came over and we pumped 2 batts through our birds on the Island.

Then finished the day off talking to Tom who helped me understand my new Cellpro 10S, and what a piece of kit that is! it's got to be one of the best chargers ever designed, plus the best £125 ever spent, with the batt boards added on top of the charger price, simply wonderful, Thanks loads Mate!

Congrats too everyone else who had a blast today as well, to the others better luck next time guys.

I too love this hobby, the word hobby isn't enough to describe my passion and urge to learn more each and every day, be it outside or on Phoenix, flying my birds is a part of my life not something I do for the hell of it, and each time I blast a few batts through my birds I have the same excitement as I did during my first early learning days, only the butterfly's I had in my stomach then are now replaced by pure and complete enjoyment.
