Good weekend coming?

As per the title really! I'm hopeing for a good weekend, I'll settle for dry and overcast if I have to

I'm off to Leuchars Airshow on Saturday with my son and then hopefully get some flying in at Kinross model club on Sunday

I cant wait Love Leuchars Airshow I've not missed one in 10 years and last year does'nt count as it was not on due to resurfacing the runway for the arrival of Eurofighter into active service.

So with a little luck the weather forcast is looking not too bad so far.

Weather looks great for Sat, Sunday not so good though. I am hoping to get some flying in this evening, so will see how that goes,..... GO AWAY RAIN!

Well its off to a good start!

Went to the Kinross club this evening witht he T-Rex 450.Stunning evening, SUNNY!!! with scattered clouds, NO WIND and no rain till 30 mins AFTER I got home

Got a couple of flights in and no crashes

Getting the hang of side on hovering and moving left/right tail in slowly working myself up to getting round to nose in (I can do it no probs on Phoenix lol).

Well 2 out of 3 aint bad......

Leuchars Airshow was a complete washout! 2 heli's (Lynx and Longbow apache) 3 aircraft did some flypasts!

Unfortunatly the cloud was just far too low for them to fly any sort of display safely.

Got to feel for all those involved in setting up the Airshow,, especially all the RAF personel who spent the last week and probably most of this coming week setting the Airfeild up!

Ran 5 packs throught the T-Rex 450 this afternoon at Kinross Stunning weather and no crashes! Side in is getting easier and I can start working round to nose in.

I'll do the SAA Hovering proficency test first though as that means I'm allowed to practice the hovering unsupervised.

Not a bad weekend. Gutted about the Airshow but thats life!

Cant wait to get a T-Rex 600e.
