It's been a year to the day I Joined this forum give or sake a few days, lol, and what a year it's been.
I started with my little (first BCX2) had a blast, learned loads, and look on in happy envy at all the people here with there fantastic birds wondering will I ever be there myself.
I remember Rob, (Warboys astro) visiting me for a few hours explaining how Phoenix works, roughly what entails flying these machines,I was to polite to say I hadn't the foggiest what he was saying, however it planted the seeds and urge to think "I've gotta find out what this is all about," and when he unpacked his Trex 600 and powered her up I was speechless, from that moment I was blissfully addicted.
The sound of her rotas cutting through the air was sweet music, I could have listened and watch her fly all day, then he left and I placed a batt in my BCX2 and it never seemed the same compared to the beauty I'd just witnessed in the air.
In the 1600+ posts I've made just a couple of posts have gone tit's up through wording mix ups and I've always made sure I made amends and the mix up was forgotten for the missight they plainly were.
But my time here has been a real blast with fun and frustration as we all have while learning the ropes, the 134+ hours I spent training on Phoenix before I launched my 450, and all the help I received setting it up, understanding what was complete gibberish to Begin with, I honestly thought the program was faulty as I couldn't hover a bloody thing, but Ron and the others helped me getting started then I was away.
Here I am today with 100+ hours flying time on the real Trex 450, a mass of spares, tools PSU, Chargers ect, I made good friends with two of the members here Mike (pip) & Gary (gizmo) who have helped me hands on to make me better my self as a pilot and understanding what's what.
In the next 24 hours I take stock of my first large machine which is a practically brand new machine which has been built with top notch components and care and I've never been so excited since I purchased my first Trex which is now a totally different machine to when I purchased her, there's hardly anything of the original on it now, and what a blast that was just working on her.
I make no point of avoiding the point that I'm pretty buggered in the Spine dept, but this form and my flying has been the best medicine I've ever had.
I'd have never made it to where I am right now, and had I done so it wouldn't have been the same without you guys, when I've asked some silly questions and it's caused a laugh when the answers been staring me in the face doesn't get more enjoyable then that.

I took up the advise about saving and going for Align equipment as back when I started there wasn't any real user friendly machines like the RTF B400 or the superb Twister Storm, so the align route I took without a moments hesitation or regret.
I know it sounds a little soft, but thank you all for putting up with me and your combined Patience helping this numb nut achieve where I am now.
But mostly making a few more friends on line and in person.
Thank you everyone a ton load and then some.
