Neither if you dont have a lot of cash for the repairs you are going to need.

Do what the guys suggested, Blade CX2 and Phoenix.

I guarentee you will wish you had if you dont...........

I agree with Dashik. CCP heli's are not that easy to fly & if your budget is £150 as you said in the other thread you started asking for advice, then one crash will eat that. At least get the CX2 of other similar heli and give yourself a fighting chance of staying in this hobby.

          Good advice being given here.

I've just started and took did exactly that - Blade CX2 and Phoenix.

The Blade is great and gives you confidence and orientation help, whilst the sim allows you to try the more advanced CP helis (without the cost of crashing them). If you've never flown a heli before, find a shop and try and have a go on a sim - it looks easy until you try it...

I've just got to the stage of being able to fly one of the training models on Phoenix - I even occasionally land it without crashing!!!

          Hope this helps

As above... get a sim, not sure about the cx, i just got a cx2 and its not very responsive compared to either HBK" and Trex500 (ive owned both)

MY advise would be sim, then maybe straight into the trex 500 with training gear, its much more stable than a hbk2, or belt cp, and can be set up v dosile for you to learn to hover.

However i have no got a cx2 just to play with orientations myself lol... crashed the 500 twice, average rebuild cost £140 :O (i crash properly )

I agree with the "above" threads, buy the BCX2 first, this will prepare & get you used to having something in the air, plus teach you cyclic control & basic helicopter maintenance.

And purchase Phoenix, this way your learn how to fly larger CCP helicopters without any of the dangers or costs associated with larger more powerful machines.

If HBK's or Belt CP machines are your budget you'll be far better off buying the BCX2 even if it means purchasing Phoenix a month later, as your need a few spares like blades when you start off.

The Blade CX2 is the perfect powerful all round machine for safe indoors flying without it being dangerous, plus with the Blades CX2's controller you can practice on Phoenix with ease between flying your CX2.

Nice one mate, and a must read for anyone thinking of starting heli' flying, your find she'll be going like crazy in your livingroom soon enough, and your sim training Will prepare you in good stead when you jump on the bigger outdoor heli' flying circuit.

Keep the great work up my friend, and I'm sure before the years out you'll be flying the Blade 400 or better.
