  • lukas Riva demo flight at 3DM08

Just a heads up on a bit of very nice flying in the 3DM08 demo field by Lukas Riva..some real class moves around 4mins and loads in between including skid/ground kisses.

    Simply outstanding skills
I love to watch Lukas beat the crap out of a heli
So precise and smooth all the time!

Gotta agree. Just awesome to watch.

Some great twists on standard moves too. Proximity to ground control is pretty damn good too.

He certainly is an outstanding pilot. making some seriously difficult moves look easy.
What always gets me is how the heli look weightless even when it apears to be on its side it just hangs there, incredible. thanks for pointing out the vid.

although I understand the seagulls are not overly impressed with him LOL (you need to have seen his victory flight to understand this )
          All the best

you can see why hes the 3d master 2008

does this mean we all have to convert to reversed collective/throttle like lucas fly's.
hope not//or maybe i could fly better that way
              cheers craig simmons

I have to ask why? the normal way round I can sea the reasoning behind it, but to reverse it??? there must be a reason.

maybe he just wanted to stop anyone else from flying his helis

Yep when I saw Lucas fly at the Align event last year I thought he was close to been the best but after seeing him fly at 3DM and standing right next to him a few times I am pretty sure he is now the best in the world.

See how he copes at the Align event this year after we take him out on the town and get him smashed every night:-)

                    Cheers

bob, is that the measure of the greats in your book? lol, how well can you fly with a bad headache and bad dose of the hangovers...lol

i have to say imo he is the best in the world and one thing i personally like, he doesn't piro all the time. i'm sick of watching piro vids. just my opinion there.

                      cheers

why do you think not many people show up at the field at charmouth before 12 :-)

those that do show up before 12 look a little misty eyed :-)

Robinson R22 is pull lever up and you go up. I'm guessing other full size stuff is the same.
