  • Servo not centering

    Hi all

I have Hitec HS635's on my heli and just had to replace the gears after a crash. All is fine apart from my servo controling elevator which won't centre itself properly once you let go of the cyclic stick on my tx.

Any ideas on how to fix it or do I need a new servo?

    Thanks

    Richard

You might need to get ur self a hitec servo programmer, good little item if u use hitec servos. they will test ur servos and you can set you center and deadband ect
Cost abit but a good little gadget

Thanks Nightstalker. I don't think the other half will be too happy me spending that kind of money on it though lol.

All the Hitec 635/645 servos I've ever had have been very short lived, even had one that let the magic smoke out.The resolution is crap as well, never got the same centre after each stick movement.
The hitec rep said it was my own fault for for using their "cheap sport servos"

I won't use Hitec servos for anything anymore after a response like that.

          Richard.

Leeds model shop have a Hitec programmer and will sort that out for you free of charge as you bought your heli there..

Was in the shop just 40 minutes ago.
