I still have my question: Is it possible that the engine is jamming the receiver or gyro ? Could it come from the glow plug lead that I mounted. I had to connect one extra cable from the engine to the ground of the glow lead plug.

The engine will not effect the gyro if it is installed properly.
The buzzing sound is normal because the gyro is working all the time making sure there is no movement on the tail. I heard somewhere that if you left a gyro on for 24 hours it would do 360 degrees, I don't know if this is true or not, maybe someone on the site can let us know more about that. The ground of the glow plug lead should be connected under the motor if possible and this will not interfere with the reciever or gyro.
As Ade said earlier on it is very important to get the right tape to fix the gyro down. Hope you get it right.

          Thanks Mack,
I'll try with taking away the remote glow lead first, I used a normal 1.5 electric cable to go from the engine ground to the glowlead ground. Could be that this gives some interference to the gyro or receiver. I'll try it out first.

            Belair,

The tail on my Ornith started twitching and drifting.
The tail drive belt was getting worn and dust had filled the notches on the drive pinion causing the belt to go tight every time it passed over the high spot.
This caused vibration and the tail problems, when i replaced the belt it started to behave a better. After that the only twitching was from me.
Don't know if this is your problem but worth a look.

The battery can go into any spare channel, they are all wired together.
