Just got back from the flying field after the maiden flight of my TRex 600 Super Pro.

Pete who has 2 600's popped over and spent a great deal of time checking the heli over before its first flight, and helped make a few changes to the links to even out the -/+ pitch.

I know he was pretty busy at work today, and he got to the field as soon as he finished to help me out. It is this sort of attitude and spirit that make this hobby so good.

A couple of moments just before it left the ground for the first time , but once it was in the air, only a couple of clicks on the trim to get it flying pretty much hands off.

Dan, I predomenantly fly at Dorset Model Helicopter Club which is near Wimborne. Wasn't even aware there was a club at Boscombe Down!!

So far Ron, I have only put 2 tanks through it whilst hovering around. No real flying with it as yet.. However, did a couple of climb outs in the the settings i have on the Gov, and considering how rich its running it's in a different league to the Raptor.. But i wouldn't get rid of the Raptor for any money!

Plenty of smoke out of the pipe... With almost no wind towards the end of the evening, there was a fog bank behind us!! Hopefully weather will hold and Pete and I can do some more with it.

You are very welcome mate. I was excited as you to see it fly and it flew absolutely great. Really well built. Looking forward to tomorrow so we can start leaning it out and really seeing what it can do !!!

Sorry Ade, i should have mentioned we were at the site just down the road from both of us. Its a bit of a trek to get to DMHC after work. But, should be able to make it Sunday afternoon if the weather is good.

I am enjoying a rough spell at the moment,stuffed the 600N on Sat,botched inverted auto and today flying the 600E,a Lipo securing strap snapped,Lipo decided to wobble about and unplug itself at the worst possible moment and i couldnt build headspeed so shes cream crackered at the moment

And to make matters worse,my brand new 6s Electrolite looks like a Banana


But its an excuse for the silver frames for it which i wanted so just ordered everthing from Midlands now

Sorry to hear that Chris. Especially the 6S Li-Po as they don't come cheap.
