  • inverted circuit and auto

    I'm out flying tonight.
I've been getting a bit stagnated and not trying stuff I can do on the sim for real but sticking with what I know instead.
So I have both my .50s in the car and I'm going to do inverted circuits and then an inverted auto tonight.

I've just posted this here as added incentive to do it for real and not chicken out!

I've been doing inverted circuits for about a week now and have only just started doing autos the right way up.
Can only manage inverted autos on the sim just now.
Good luck especially with the inverted autos.

You'll breeze it. Just start by rolling out fairly high and lower the roll as you get confident. Also bug out as soon as you get out of position.

The main thing to remember is you need forward speed and to flare (positive) before the inverted to right way up transition.

I would tighten your blades alot and set your TH idle high as well just in case

            Have fun!

ive cracked inverted autos in the past couple of weeks, both rolling and flipping out. Rolling is much easier and more forgiving, but do the roll high, it gives you plenty of time to build the head speed back up should you **** it up!

Typing this is probably pretty pointless actually as you are probably already out flying! Good Luck!!

didn't get much done firday night due to it raining on and off.
Been out thismorning and I have done some inverted circles, too small to call them circuits. They were uneventful and after a short while not too stressful.

It was flat calm, so I chickened out of the inverted auto though I did a load of power on approaches flipping out, and autos with piroettes before landing.

Off to 3DM in the morning, I need more fuel anyway.
I'll be the one with the bored 4 year old boy wih me.

                          I finally did inverted autos
Loads of them with my knight50, then after that developed a problem someone turned up with a vid camera so I just had to do a few more with my 600npro
