Did my first Auto :)

Did my first Auto rotation today, although it was forced and not by choice lol, was doing was fast 8's and circuits when my engine cut out at about 25' (fuel line had split and come on off in the tank), hit the throttle hold and managed a nice auto

Thank god for all the phoenix sim practice I had done, just in case lol

I bet that was one of the most satisfying landings you have ever done! Practicing for the real thing is all well and good, but at least you knew what to do when the worst happend, and got it down in one piece.

Bet you had wobbly legs after that experience!!

yep sure was a brown pants moment when the engine cut lol but great to see NO damage.....was thinking, damn out comes the cheque book AGAIN lol but No lol

same for me to bud, my first auto was also a forced one due to engine cutting out, but as you all the practice on the sim paid off.

I was doing some auto practice the other week with my Rappy Titan. 620 carbon blades. I know you are supposed to have as much positive pitch as you can get (That`s 12 on mine) but how much negetive is ideal. I have 6 at the mo.?
