  • fixing a robbe wand onto a dynatron shaft?????

    Hi all
i have just received my new robbe hex starter for my dynatron starter.
the problem i have is how do you fix it to the starter shaft????
i have removed the starter cone so i can fix direct to the shaft, but the wand doesn't go far enough onto the shaft which means the fixing grub screw will only grip the thread on the end of the shaft which means possibly a crap fixing and damaging the thread on the end of the starter shaft.
just wondered how anyone with the same combo got around this???

also i have just bought the x-cell sullivan starter mount, complete with no instructions.
the problem is that the threads on the domed nuts that hold the plastic end pieces in place are not long enough to pass through the 2mm g10 mounts
do you remove the plastic end panels??????
the problem is they hold the switch assy in place.
anyone with the dynatron starter, x-cell mounts and robbe wand combo?
    i would appreciate any photos
    many thanks

    all sorted
i found you have to tap a 1/4" thread into the end of the robbe wand so you can screw it on to the dynatron shaft and the secure with the grub screw be warned it's hardened , so not easy
    cheers
