  • Rare Earth Magnets

Bit of a strange request, but does anyone who is attending the DMHC fly in tomrrow have any small Rare Earth magnets?

I am after some along the dimensions of 6mm in diameter and 4mm in depth. If you have any and you can spare them, bring them with you and i will buy them off you.

    Cheers
    Aidi

If you want a laugh then get some of the massive ones, there rediculasly strong, as in you really have to be carefull what you stick them to as its virtually impossible to get them off. I was also having a play with a couple that were 10x20x40 one on each side of my arm, they were holding there fine untill they slipped round and pinched a chunk of my arm, took a few mins running round work trying to find someone nice enough to remove them. Dont think I have ever experianced that amount of pain before!! Everyone else found it halarious...

As an alternative to a nut and bolt which is holding an item in place. I have seem them used quite effectively for the same purpose as what i am after them for.

Now there's an idea... as it really is a PITA to bolt them on all the time... But the first ones are for a different area

Yeh, get a "DEATH MAGNET". It measures 50x50x25 and can hold 100Kg!
