    Avant press release - very interestng...

    I just spotted a very interesting press release on the Avant RC website!

    And i'm sure I just read "the upcoming Aurora 50 Pro class and the 500 electric class" in there

          they won't succeed in the 50/500 market with their current price structure imo. that said by time they are released we will be using kryptonite to power the helis.

              This is where in my opinion Synergy lost a big opportunity if they had just made a shrunken version of the .90 then it would have been the global leader for a .50 nitro. But they didn't and Align has it in the bag. I personally believe that anyone wanting to make a decent .50 has to produce a machine to beat Align and Compass not only in purchase price but in running costs too.

                Not necessarily, JR seem to be doing well with the Vibe 50. I've set up and flown one and they are definately a quality piece of kt and there will always be buyers at this end of the market too although Align/Compass would be hard to beat on volume. There are a few good things about Align's pricing structure, one of which is that it's forcing other manufacturers to drop their kit and spares prices to more reasonable levels and I'm sure the Trex 700N is going to shake up the 90 size market.

                If Synergy had shrunk down the N9 to 50 size it would have been a pretty heavy heli which would have made a Raptor 50 look anorexic! They would have needed to change the head to a lighter version as well as the frames etc. which would have cost as much in tooling as the N9.

                    found a post on RR re this announcement....sums it up pretty much. i laughed anyway.

                    We dont even have the first delivery of the first batch of the Aurora" here in Australia yet.

                    Mind you the distributors been waiting 2 years !

                    Augusto pull your head out of the sand and just get your first project completed, your starting to look more and more like a real wanker to me.
                    AND THE REST OF AUSTRALIA

                    deliver your stock to your distributors and stop trying to hype-up what you already havent delivered.
