  • So who went to W&W in the end then?

I went for a while on Sat, didn't get there till 1pm though and had to leave again at 4ish. But what I saw was pretty good. Managed to pick up my HS65 servos I needed cheaper than elsewhere. Would've got a GY410 but that was a tenner dearer at the show than Fast-Lad.

The only disappointment for me was I didn't see the only helis go up, they were what I'd wanted to see too. Looked on the ground like 1 3d and 1 scale.

Nice parafin smell, I guess that was from the Nitro's? Reminded me of full size airshows.

I went on Saturday with the Mrs and my boy. They went round the market and I did the show. Good day as ever, got a little sun burnt, bought a plane kit and some other bits'n'pieces.

Went on Sunday, like jboweruk said.......Not many heli's.....I only saw one!! I was going to buy essentials ie(CA,servos, rx,charger, tools) but the prices were more or less the same, so I thought I would and order this morning. Ordered Cellpro 4s, adaptor for thunderpower and 3s 2200 thunderpower.
I dont fly jets but there were a couple down there yesterday and they were awesome, great pilots!! As the afternoon went on there quite a few people down there.

I went on Sunday with a couple of friends.

Bought a Carbsmart from Evolution and managed to get a box of Magnum 12% for £55 from another heli vendor, can't think who it was though. I also bought a foam bobcat (twin boom) brushless jet type for only £20. Looks like good fun, from Overlander!

It was good to have a wander round, lots for sale at the Bring and Buy. Budget was restrictive this year or I might have had a 2nd hand Raptor 50 too!
          regards

Hey, where d'you learn to fly? I saw you shoot your rocket
          up.............. into the sky.

Hey, I heard you set the pace, I never thought I'd see you back................ in this old place!

I went on Saturday and got nicely sunburned.
Great show, but not much heli flying. There was a pretty good crash of a four engine WWII bomber though!

I got one of those Gforce neckstrap hook things for my JR tranny, plus lots of RC gear Lipos etc.
Saw the new Spektrum receivers AR7100R which were going for around £120 first hand but didn't buy one in the end.
I liked the Century Coaxial 500D with onboard camera.
Also, there was a Synergy at the bring n buy with Canomod canopy (slight chip on the screen), Hyper Grips & levers for £350.

By the way the paraffin smell was from the Jets gas turbine engines.

            Tim.

Went Sat and Sun, camped in a field, got cold sat night and a sniff neck lol.

Good show, stalls expensive, coffee even more so.

Got to fly the TREX Sat evening for a few sessions though which was pretty cool.

Me and the missus went Saturday and both got the lobster look
That has not been too well received by our daughter as my nose is peeling like hell at the moment and she gets married on Saturday, ( should look good in the pics )
Really enjoyed it and despite the strong wind I thought the guys flew great.
