T-Rex 150 dfc Initialise problem

During lockdown i decided to dig out my t-Rex 150, I fixed it to use in the garden, been great! However I plugged a battery in today but it doesn’t seem to want to initialise, the Motor beeps but the swash doesn’t bounce, The motor just keeps beeping, the DSM2 sat has a solid Orange light so no problem there, anyone got any ideas ?

I did the same couple of weeks ago and have same issue! Do both motors bleep?

Short amount of googling suggests disconnected motors, broken motor wire or failed main board.

I had a similar failure on mine years ago which turned out to be a faulty main controller board. This seems to be a very common failure. They are stupidly expensive so not economic to repair. Cheaper to go and buy a used heli and tear it down for spares, assuming you can find one with a good main board.

I have a spare airframe so will try the board from that one
