  • Optipower BEC guard; Use with 7.4v BEC

    Hi,
Does anyone know if an Optipower BEC guard will function with a 7.4v BEC?

    Regards

If it's not fun, why do it?

    Hi,

Yes it can function at 7.4V

It just blocks voltage above 10 volt from hitting the FBL controller and servo's

Thanks. I've no idea why mine won't work. I get a blue light when I power up the ESC (Scorpion Trinubus), but no electricity is getting to my FBL. This is with either of two BEC guards

I have 2x of them on my Goblin, which also has a Tribunus ESC in it, and it's set to whichever option is closest to 7.4V.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.
