Rave 450, which FBL?

Probably a longshot but here goes: Has anyone here flown a Next-D Rave 450 flybarless, and if so, what controller did you use (and how well did it work).

I have been flying mainly the Spartan Vortexes on helis ranging from 800 size to the Beam 450 and they have worked great. But on the rave 450 I was having a bad pitch-up tendency that I spent quite a while trying to tune out to no avail. So eventually I just set the Rave aside and took the Spartan out of it and put it into something else.

So this year I'd like to get the Rave going again but cannot have a repeat of last year. I do have a few Next-D Total Gs, but I am kinda phasing them out due to just liking the Spartan better, plus now moving over to something with rescue.

For the Rave, I don't strictly need rescue, but I do want something that works without loads of tweaking.

Never flown a Rave, but VBar Blueline Mini should be a straight swap for the Spartan. Maybe?

Can you plug a couple Spektrum sats into the VBar or does it require a separate RX?

You can use sats with a Vbar mini, no rescue though. A Spirit2 or a Brain2 would be good choices that both have rescue

I used a mini vbar on mine. Fantastic heli to fly with it. I started with a TT360 which was pretty much a Rave 450 with a different frame setup, but got a Rave 450 afterwards. Only issue is it stripping the tail transfer gear but I only had that once or twice in the many many flights I had on it.
