Next on the agenda is to complete the shadow boarding so i have a place for the remaining tools. After that anything left will need some serious consideration if i keep it or not.
After that i will board out the underneath the bench for further storage. Then i will look at purchasing the two tv's / monitors. The monitor i have on the other wall is really handy to display manuals etc while you are working / building helis. Also you can zoom right in on the detail.
i was thinking of maybe making some kind of frame over the monitors full of cubby holes for stuff. dunno.
Painting still needs to be done followed by the framing. Will keep ya posted as i continue.
For the electrics, i cant bury cables in the wall, and running cables along the wall looks messy. So i plan on running several lengths of black round conduit around the garage for power. I figure if you cant hide them make them a feature.
Any feedback / ideas would be more than welcome.

Made a bit more progress with the garage. So as the garage is breeze blocked, i could not really chisel into it for cables. The only option was surface mount. Initially i was going to run conduit around the room at the top of the wall, literally right round the room. Then drop vertical runs of conduit where i wanted.
There would be a run for lighting, sockets, ethernet and audio cables. A bit of looking around i figured it would be difficult to run this cable together, and would require multiple runs of conduit around the room, which i think would look rubbish. Also i wanted the ability to add stuff as i go along, maybe ethernet or 12v power etc. Maybe even compressed air piping.
So in the end i decided on some cable tray around the room. the tray would be stood off the wall around 30mm. For the vertical runs, i cut a 22mm hole in the tray (fitted a gromit) and then passed the cable for the vertical run through it. I then used conduit, which the cable would drop into behind the tray, and then run down to a socket etc.....
Still a few more cables to clip on but you get the idea. For the lights, as i dont easily have access to the ceiling space above, i plan to run the lighting circuit down one side on the tray. Same thing, pass it thru the tray and into conduit going up to the ceiling. The joists run across the garage so from there i should be able to pass it along. Thats the next thing to do.
Over the winter i will then begin painting the units black.
Also over the xmas period i will be building a desktop computer that will go under the bench. It will have 3 monitors i think which will be ideal for the latest microsoft flight sim due out late next year. Once the monitors are in and set (might be on a monitor stand) i will then look to how i want the shelving above the monitors on that wall.
For now i have been busy in the garage working on building three models which are a aj laser 60, a goblin 770 and resurrecting a goblin 500.
