Velocity stack needed on a 105hzr?

So i saw Maj's post of his 105hzr and noticed his had a velocity stack on it.

I bought mine which came as part of the 700n, but there was no stack

Is there a REAL advantage to it that that isnt just a marketing bullet point?

They're only £15 but if they do nothing I wont bother.

More than likely got one if you want it. The idea is that the air it pulls in is from the fan area so likely cooler than that circulating around the engine.

I think you'll have to cut the fan shroud to get that in. Just something to bear in mind.
