  • Cheap carbon 700 blades

Have any of you use RJX 690 blades before? There are available for £33.87 posted on banggood with a coupon, this is less than half the price of almost all other carbon fibre blades of that size.

Is there any other cheaper brands you buy, or do you not fly with cheap blades at all? Would you buy or avoid these?

These would be used on a nitro, so no crazy head speeds.

EDIT - they are available on RJX site for $76.49

I have a pair of the RJX 600 blades and they're not bad at all. The NHPs are generally a safe bet as well and in stock at Midlands.

Perfectly good blades. I've used 600mm, 690mm, and 550mm over the years. I still have 2x sets of 690s and a set of 600s I keep as spares. They're what I've flown in the past before changing to other more premium brands.

Keep an eye out at Hobbyking for their sales. Recently they had 690mm Rotorstar (which are rebranded RJX) for just over £30 (exc post) a month or so ago, shipped from the UK warehouse.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

I'd say they are excellent blades, I used them on my Trex 700 to compete last year and was impressed with them. Very stiff.

        Worth every penny at £33.87

          Both excellent blades.

I've used the 500 and 550 sizes and lots of guys at our club use the bigger sizes, and they are good blades but beware of any customs costs if you are buying from outside the EU, as the current 'free' limit is only £28.00, and if the add VAT etc, it could soon make them expensive.
