  • Spectrum DX9 black edition

Has anybody else experienced a problem in which a DX9 black edition will not pass a range test at anything more than about 20mt .
whilst at Dx7s will do about 40 on reduced power .
Had a couple of unexplained incidents.
Decided to do a range test ( which models passsd originally)
but now will not do an range text on lower power at anything above about 20mt.

Yep, not with the black edition but with the usual model. The RF module has gone or the small cable on the aerial has come undone. Return it, I lost a model due to it, don't risk it.

Usually it would be the antenna placement on the heli that caused poor reception. If you are sure that it's the Tx not the receiver antenna then i'd send it in for a checkup. Logic-RC now run the UK Spektrum service centre. Give them a call on 01992 558226.

They give amazing service. They recently checked my DX18 out, replaced a gimbal and posted the Tx back to me free of charge (and it was well out of warantee). Did it all in a one day turnaround too!
