XLPower acquire MSH

it's been talked about for a while that MSH were in financial trouble and looked like closing shop. Good news is that XLPower have stepped in and aquired MSH and will be taking over production of the MSH heli range. The announcement photo even shows the nitro model that MSH cancelled, so it looks like XLPower might be planning to sell it alongside the electric models.

The sale doesnt include the MSH Brain FBL controller because MSH sold that part of the business off a while back

Yes this is great news another great brand saved. I do hope they go ahead with the 700 nitro

I'm not sure about the nitro, but Ra Kabun who is the 'main man' at XLPower has said that they will be making parts for the full MSH range. This is really an amazing commitment when you think about it. Most new owners would have come in and just 'cherry picked' the most financially viable models and dropped support of the rest on economic grounds.

It really is good for the hobby.

I don't know if Ra Kabun has a profitable business outside the hobby, but if he does, that would explain how he can do this for love, rather than profit.

Very good news indeed. I love my Protos 380 so having a spares pipeline is great news. I've just built a Specter 700 so I have a foot in both camps now!
