Bad Service From Electrolite

JUST A QUICK WARNING TO PEOPLE WHO ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING FROM THEN. I HAVE GOT 3 LIPO FOR MY 600 AND 3 FOR MY 459 I ALSO GOT MYSELF A CHARGER FROM THEM. AL WAS FINE UNTILL I HAD A PROBLEM WITH A LIPO FOR MY 600 I TOOK IT BACK AND WELL OVER A WEEK LETER I HAVE HAD TO CHASE THEM EMAIL THEM PHONE THEM TEXT THEM AND NOTHING BACK UNTILL TONIGHT SAYING I WILL HAVE TO PUT IT THOUGH A CYCLE.

I think it best if we give you a refund. Yes it has take about a week to put a pack through testing. There is nothing wrong with the battery cells are charging nicely and hold voltage. Also i think this is very uncalled for especially after i have made time to arrange and let you visit us out of hours.

The reason for this taking about a week is because my business partner has not be able to work for the past week or so leaving myself only to run the business. After having met a few time i thought you would have trust in me that i would get this done for you and its a shame that you have taken this cause of action of a very minor delay!!!

Please come visit us on Wednesday so that we can arrange the refund or return the pack to you and discuss this matter. Please call me on my mobile tomorrow to arrange a time. Myself and James would like to talk to you and fully resolve this!

Also as you can see i am still work now 12.20am!

From my tests and the test with the cell voltage meter which i did in front of you it showed that cell 6 is the strongest cell in the pack!

WOW i see this guys is offering loads to help you why not go along with it and get the service that hes offering rather than pull the guy down in public. if you took this to trading standards you would not have a case as hes offering u a full refund or a perfect pack back that he gives hes word to.

If i was u retract your last post and deal direct with him and get it sorted

What is your problem, having read both the threads you have been posting in to vent your anger, on the other post at 12.45 you seem to accept it was all put to bed, and even thanked Bruce in the thread and now at 1.17am you are firing up again. insults like "shove it up your arse" do not help your credibility at all, I would suggest that you think a little longer before posting personal insults in the future

I entirely agree I bought a Lama of Budget-rc and they had problems from esky getting them over bu they kept me in the loop and gave me some free spares and an extra battery! I think Dougie you should really think long and hard about what you post they are obviously trying to sort it providing a full refund and you seem to be being unreasonable what more do you want. This always seemed to me like a nice place where we could share information not try and ruin the livelihood of someone that is trying to help you because you waited a week for testing!!

Ok I will try to explain this situation as best I can for all to see.

Before I start I am freinds with Paul (Dougie) and also freinds with Bruce Mead and James at Electrolite so I aim to fall out with no-one but post what I know as I have both sides of the story today.

Paul (Dougie) is a relative newcomer to this hobby and has joined our group of flyers at my place here.

He was guided to Electrolite from myself after I received a free 3s pack for testing purposes and liked it very much so he went and spent in excess of £500 with Bruce at Electrolite on lipos for both his 600e and his 450SE plus a charger and other accessories.

One of the 6s packs was indeed showing a blank cell when we had it here at my house, That's a fact.
Paul asked what was best to do with it so I said as Electrolite was local to us take it back and let Bruce check it over just for peace of mind, Both Paul and myself arnt too educated on lipos so that was the best decision in my opinion.

Now we went flying last night until quite late 9.30pm and Paul was telling me that he had been trying to get in touch with Bruce for the last 4 days via text/phone calls/PM via the forum and email.

He had no response to any of these means of communications for the 4 days mentioned but had seen Bruce making posts on these very forums offering free batteries and also donating some lipos for a raffle at an upcoming 3D event soon. He was definately blanking Paul for reasons unknown to us.

I wasnt aware that Paul was going to explode with rage late last night so rang him today explaining that his post although had meaning was presented very badly..

He agreed and said most of it was written in anger and could have been explained via the phone or email had Bruce made the effort to reply, I agreed..

I have also had Bruce's partner James on the phone to me today wanting to know why Paul had reacted in this way, I explained what I have written here and he agreed.

So my take on this is... Bruce, If your going to conduct a business selling to the public and build up a good reputation then look after the ones that have put many pounds into it already.

Paul, Give me a call next time and I will help in wording together a post without the large text shouting at everyone to make a point..

And another thing is its 2 weeks tomorrow (Wednesday) since Bruce received the lipo back for testing not 1 week as Paul stated.

The whole point being don't blank your customers but answer them, then hopefully another episode like this won't happen.

Hi everyone this is James I would like to start by apologizing to Paul who through no fault of his own has not had a battery to fly with which is defenatly not part of our mission statement.

Thank you to Tim (buster boy) a stand up chap putting a fair account of this situation.

I have spoken to Paul tonight and I am sending a replacement 6s 5000mah special delivery tomorrow. This situation has been a product of miss communication which sadly has overflowed and has gone too far which I am now working on a system that will better our business and our support to you the consumers.

I do not blame Paul I would be angry as well and after a good chat today as this is the first I have heard of this I believe i have sorted it out with Paul and hope we can move forward as he is a genuinely nice man and I hope he will come and see us so I can have a beer with him, Tim and any of the guys that fly in that group.

If anyone else Fancy's a beer your quite welcome.

This Hobby is not about fighting its a great one that should be enjoyed and I am going to take this experience on board to better the company to support that fact.
